Really thoughtful. It’s more than just saying, “I trust in you.” We have to actually do it.

The last 5 years have been some of the most exciting, challenging and changing ones of my life. I have learnt so much about medicine, about love, about relationships with friends and family, about how to pay bills (and make complaints to certain companies who overcharge!)…but most importantly I have learnt and continue to learn to trust in God.

Trusting in God is more complex than I first thought. It is one thing to say to yourself ‘I trust in God’ but what does that really look like? For me trusting and patience come hand in hand. I’d like to describe myself as a patient person, but I’m the kind of person who will stand by the oven tapping my foot as I wait for the pasta bake to finish cooking through. I’ll often take it out too early and realise that its lukewarm in the middle…I end up eating…
